This summer our inspiring and diverse outreach team recruited about 3,000 new members across 16 St. Paul online neighbors forums. We’ve grown by 300% since the beginning of the year. We need your help seeking grants to extend and deepen our outreach lower income, highly diverse, high immigrant neighborhoods. We have the awesome advantage of core funding from the Knight Foundation through 2014 focused on St. Paul.
By joining our team you can help us not only develop special outreach within St. Paul, but also Minneapolis, the Metro and greater Minnesota. As a “glocal” organization we also have lesson sharing and training efforts to unleash across interested communities. You can help make that happen.
As we build the nation’s most diverse and representative base of thousands of local online civic participants in city, what ideas might you help us sharpen for foundations, donors, and others so together we can build the next generation of online civic engagement that is relevant to everyday people? You can help make this happen.
Over recent years E-Democracy, has built a network of awesome, dedicated, and honestly very modestly paid contractors guided by a stellar Board with global connections. A commitment to community, to raising diverse voices, to taking risks, and getting things done is required. This position may be the perfect role for someone in our just out of graduate school, a recent retiree, or someone with a day job and the time to add some passion and excitement on the side.
